Sydney, Australia — Thursday 4th December 2025Behind The Gallery is proud to announce the Australian debut of ‘YUNGBLUD: IDOLS’ an exclusive photography exhibition by acclaimed British photographer Tom Pallant, showcasing an intimate and electrifying visual narrative of global rock sensation over the last 18 months at 551 King Street, Newtown 2011 from the 8th-11th January 2026.

This world exclusive exhibition, will feature an array of both personal and pivotal moments never-before-seen, celebrating the evolution of one of the most influential alt-rock figures of a generation. From candid backstage moments and high-voltage live performances that capture the artist’s raw humanity. Pallant, YUNGBLUD’s long-time trusted photographer and creative collaborator, brings fans closer than ever before to the energy, vulnerability and rebellion that define the star’s artistic identity.

Yungblud prints signed by Tom will be available for purchase as well as a special collection of photography that has been made available on the website.

Tom Pallant, whose work has been widely recognised for its visceral, immersive style, said on debuting this in Australia Being able to showcase the IDOLS world physically for the first time is really special—especially in Australia, where fans have been some of the most supportive since YUNGBLUD’s inception”.

Pallant added “This collection has taken shape over the last 18 months throughout the recording and writing process, the initial release, and the first shows where these songs were played live. Stepping into the IDOLS world has been an incredible experience. Building it from the ground up has been deeply rewarding, and we’re so excited to finally share these images, some of which will be seen for the first time.”

Stephen Dallimore, Creative Director at Behind The Gallery said "Tom Pallant’s photography uniquely captures the raw emotional and electric energy of Yungblud who has taken the world by storm, and we're thrilled to bring this immersive experience to Australia. It’s very rare that one photographer can tell an artist’s story like Tom can with Yungblud. Over four days, we'll celebrate with fans these powerful images through photography, music, and storytelling”.

For fans, this marks the first opportunity to experience Pallant’s YUNGBLUD portfolio in a dedicated gallery setting.

The exhibition continues Behind the Gallery’s mission to fuse contemporary music culture with gallery-grade visual storytelling, creating accessible art experiences that resonate with modern audiences.

Art and Activism -View from the Docks The work of Sam Wallman

Melbourne-based Sam Wallman is both a wharf worker at a container terminal in Melbourne and award-winning writer, cartoonist and illustrator. View from the Docks showcases his latest work in an exhibition at the Australian National Maritime Museum opening on December 4. It depicts how life on the docks has changed – and stayed the same – over the past decades. His two careers developed in symbiosis. He had compulsively drawn since he was a child, but his first union-related drawings were created in his late teens, when he worked at a call centre. His drawings resonated. People connected with them.…
