‘Where do I find you now?’ is the new single from Perth based indie pop artist Charli Rose and is the follow up release to the single ‘Serious’ which received positive praise from Triple J and airplay on Triple J’s Home and Hosed. ‘Where do I find you now?’ is an emotionally moving indie pop track with melodic piano supporting ethereal vocals that soar with haunting beauty. It was recorded and produced by renowned engineer Gareth Henderson (Birdy, Sash) at Vocal Tech studios, Lake Coogee, Western Australia.

‘Where do I find you now?’ is about trying to understand how to accept the feeling of loss, hoping for that person to still be around, but realising you need to let go.

I wanted this song to be open for interpretation for each individual listener, whether they have physically or emotionally lost someone, we all struggle with the feeling of letting someone go. This song is about holding onto memories and trying to figure out how to be without someone.”
Charli Rose

The release of ‘Where do I find you now?’ follows Charli’s debut EP ‘Letters to Me, Letters to You’, released in 2024, along with several years of accolades for the young singer/songwriter. She was the winner of the WA Junior Country Artist of the year in both 2023 and 2024, as well as a Top 5 finalist for WAM Song of the Year in 2023 for her single ‘Mirrors’ and a finalist again in 2025 for ‘The Last Fairy’ in the 15-18 youth category.

Her song writing has been recognised in the International and Unsigned Only music competitions being a semi-finalist in both competitions for 2024. Charli has also performed at several different venues across Perth as a solo, duet and group artist, including at the Optus Stadium and RAC Arena as part of the One Big Voice Concert pre-entertainment "Young Talent" to an audience of 15,000, and at Symphony under the Stars with the Perth Symphony Orchestra.

Writing songs from the age of 11 years and now 18 years old, Charli writes, records and performs emotional music in hopes to spread meaningful messages to others.

“As an artist I’m inspired through stories of people around me, as well as issues going on in the world, to create lyrics and music which will have a lasting effect on others.”

Musically her influences include Lizzie McAlpine, Gracie Abrahms, Benson Boone, Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish.

Charli is building a burgeoning fan base both locally and globally and has just confirmed acceptance into the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA).
