As summer reaches its peak, Peninsula Hot Springs is turning February into a celebration of connection. From the ongoing Cool Moments summer program, and Valentine’s Day gifting to a vibrant Lunar New Year event, the month offers the perfect excuse to plan a trip to the Mornington Peninsula and visit the world’s leading luxury hot springs.

From midweek rituals to celebratory occasions, February is a time for connection, shaped by moments best enjoyed together. From 27 January to 27 February, Peninsula Hot Springs invites guests to Bring a Friend for Free, turning midweek bathing into a shared ritual. Available Monday to Friday, pairs can enjoy Revitalise Bath House bathing for the price of one, making it easier to prioritise connection, treat someone you love or introduce a friend to the Springs for the first time.

Leading into Valentine’s Day on 14 February, Peninsula Hot Springs presents a thoughtful take on celebrating love in all its forms, from partners, to close friends or a Galentine’s group. During this period, gifting shifts from the traditional to the meaningful, with immersive wellness experiences providing a restorative alternative. Gift certificates take centre stage, offering a flexible and considered way to gift time, care and connection.

The month culminates on Saturday, 21 February 2026, with a vibrant Lunar New Year celebration, bringing culture, community and wellbeing together in a day-long program. The experience includes Traditional Chinese Medicine demonstrations with RMIT University tutors and students, a hands-on flower arrangement workshop, a dynamic Lion Dance performance and live music by Chinese-Malaysian Melbourne-based artist Becky Sui Zhen. The Bath House Amphitheatre and Sun Lounge will be specially styled to create an immersive and celebratory setting for the occasion.

From cooling pools and shared weekday rituals to romantic escapes and cultural celebration, February at Peninsula Hot Springs is a month shaped by connection, offering space to rest and rediscover wellbeing together.

1600 Thursday 5 March 2026:The Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA) and aviation safety expert Professor Ron Bartsch are jointly correcting media reports today that wrongly characterised his comments as a recommendation for Australians to cancel travel bookings to Europe for the next six months. Professor Bartsch's comments, reported in The Advertiser this morning, related specifically to the operational impact of Middle East airspace restrictions on flight corridors and fuel costs - not a recommendation to cancel future bookings. That critical distinction was lost in today's headlined coverage and subsequent re-reporting.. The facts are these: Etihad and Emirates are flying today.…
