Noor Blumer awarded AM in Australia Day Honours List

 

Blumers Personal Injury Lawyers is so very proud of founding director, Noor Blumer AM, who is being celebrated in today's Australia Day Honours List.

 

Noor is now a Member of the Order of Australia (General Division) in recognition of her significant service to the law, to the legal profession, and to the community.

 

Noor has served as:

  • President and Board member, Australian Women Lawyers
  • President ACT Law Society
  • Director, Law Council of Australia
  • President, ACT Women Lawyers Association
  • President and Board Member, Australian Lawyers Alliance
  • Brave Foundation board member
  • Vice-President of Civil Liberties Australia
  •  

Noor holds a Dip.Law (LPAB) and a Masters in Law (ANU).  She is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is an Adjunct Professor of the Faculty of Business, Government & Law (UC).  She was the inaugural winner of the ACT Woman Lawyer of the Year Award in 2016.
