Patriot Resources reports significant silver and gold results validating Kitumba polymetallic target in Zambia

Jane Morgan Management 2 mins read

Perth, Australia – 13 January 2026: Patriot Resources Limited (ASX: PAT) has reported significant silver and gold assay results from its Phase 1 trenching program at Target B1 within the Company’s 80%-owned Kitumba 27715 Project in Zambia, further validating the prospect as a near-surface polymetallic system.

The latest results add silver and gold credits to previously announced strong copper, zinc and lead geochemistry, reinforcing the scale and potential economic significance of the mineralised system. The Company said the combination of metals highlights a unique polymetallic signature and strengthens confidence in Target B1 as a priority focus for ongoing exploration.

Notable trench assay results include:

  • 14m @ 0.33% CuEq, comprising 0.20% Cu, 4.18 g/t Ag, 0.19% Zn and 0.05% Pb (TBTR03);

  • 17m @ 0.26% CuEq, comprising 0.14% Cu, 3.07 g/t Ag, 0.04% Zn and 0.05% Au (OTR02Ext); and

  • 26m @ 0.23% CuEq, comprising 0.07% Cu, 4.93 g/t Ag, 0.24% Zn and 0.07% Pb (TBTR01).

Geological interpretation from trench mapping indicates mineralisation is hosted within sandstone and mudstone units, with visible copper minerals observed in places. The Company believes the results are consistent with a zoned, strata-bound epigenetic polymetallic system, characterised by a copper-rich core and outward zinc and lead zones, with silver dominant across all trenches and parallel shear-hosted gold reefs.

In parallel, geophysical surveys have identified several high-chargeability induced polarisation (IP) anomalies coincident with trench mineralisation, extending to modelled depths of approximately 100 metres below surface. These anomalies also correspond with low magnetic and high resistivity responses, features commonly associated with sulphide mineralisation.

Previous geophysical work has doubled the strike length of the main target area from approximately 200 metres to 400 metres and identified two additional parallel structures. A high-resolution ground magnetics and IP survey is currently underway to extend coverage across a 90-hectare block, with preparations in progress for Phase 2 trenching to further refine drilling targets.

The Company said the integration of trench assays and geophysical data is expected to play a key role in defining priority drill targets as exploration advances.

This announcement has been approved by the Board of Directors.

Adavale Resources Expands Parkes Project Footprint with Porphyry-Style Target Identified at Ashes and Strike Extension at London-Victoria

23 February 2026 – West Leederville, Western Australia | Adavale Resources Limited (ASX:ADD) has identified a compelling porphyry-style exploration target at its Ashes Prospect and strengthened its growth pipeline following the expansion of its tenure at the Parkes Gold-Copper Project in central New South Wales. The Company reported that a strong chargeability anomaly defined by historical induced polarisation (IP) surveying at Ashes extends across the previous licence boundary and is now fully captured within Adavale’s consolidated landholding. The expanded tenure also secures strategic ground along the southern strike of the London–Victoria gold corridor into EL9178, enabling integrated interpretation across a…

Diablo Resources (ASX:DBO) Identifies Large Silver-Antimony Anomaly at Utah Project

Diablo Resources Limited (ASX: DBO | OTCQB: DBORF) has identified a large, kilometre-scale silver–antimony geochemical anomaly at its 100%-owned Star Range Project in Utah, USA, following first-pass soil sampling at the South Star Prospect. The program has confirmed a silver–antimony soil anomaly extending for more than 1 kilometre, which remains open to the northeast, and is supported by high-grade rock samples and historical workings. Results reinforce the interpretation that the project hosts multiple mineralised vein and breccia systems. High-grade historical rock samples from the area returned values of up to 8,760 g/t silver and greater than 1% antimony, while recent…

Spot the red flags from marketing lead generators

“If you receive an unsolicited phone call asking you to switch your investments, superannuation or banking services, hang up,” said Vanessa Walker, managing editor of Money magazine. That’s the simple message Money magazine is encouraging Australians to follow in the wake of ASIC launching a review into financial advice licensees that use lead generation services. “Almost every professional letter or email you receive from your super fund or bank tells you that they will never call you unexpectedly and ask for personal information,” said Walker. “It’s best to use this as a rule of thumb, and encourage family and friends…
