Greater Western Water takes support beyond the counter and into the Wyndham community this March

Greater Western Water is bringing its Customer Care Days to Wyndham throughout March. Sessions will be held across Tarneit, Manor Lakes, Werribee, Truganina, Taylors Lakes and Point Cook, with more than 100 additional events planned across the Greater Western Water service region over the remainder of the calendar year.

By embedding employees directly in local community centres, libraries and neighbourhood hubs, GWW is making it easier for customers to receive help understanding their bill, setting up payment plans, or learning about grants and concessions available to them.

At a time when some customers are experiencing billing delays, GWW is taking proactive steps to be present in neighbourhoods, offering personalised support where people live, work and gather.

Greater Western Water General Manager for Customer Experience Terence Alvares spoke to GWW’s vision of ‘thriving people and country’.

“We know that our community comes from all walks of life, cultures and backgrounds. That’s why we are making sure we are covering as many locations and community hubs across our service region,” he said.

“Our Customer Care Days are a part of our customer promise to be available to you, when and where you need it. Whether that be over the phone or in person, in English or your first language, we want our community to thrive and to feel connected to us so we can help support them and continue to provide such an essential service,” he continued.

Customer Experience Consultant Nathan is proud to be out in the community helping answer difficult questions and supporting customers.

“I genuinely have a sense of fulfillment knowing I can help people in our Greater Western Water community. I strongly believe part of my job is to be accessible and available for our community,” Nathan said.
