After an electrifying season opener in Scone and a fiercely contested showdown in Marrabel, South Australia, the 2026 PBR Australia Monster Energy Tour now heads to Beaudesert in Queensland for a two-day buckfest on February 27–28, and there’s $20,000 up for grabs!

Queensland riders are leading the charge as some of the nation’s top bull riders hit their home turf.

The 2024 Beaudesert buckle title holder, Clint Glass from Willow Tree in NSW leads the rider charge, determined to take that Beauy buckle back again! He’s joined by almost 40 open riders, including international talent from Brazil, along with 11 Challenger competitors and 74 Juniors; all competing for glory, points, and bragging rights.

The leaderboard is now led by Queenslander Zane Hall (Athol) after a flawless Scone event. Behind him is Mount Isa’s Donnie Rutherfurd, then last year’s National Champion and gold buckle winner, gunning for back-to-back titles, Kurt Shephard (Mareeba, QLD).

New Zealand rider Fraser Babbington sits at fourth position, and Victorian Kelsey Pavlou is at fifth, both upsetting the Queensland roll, however with powerhouse Macaulie Leather from Calliope in Queensland in 6th anything could happen in Beaudesert.

PBR's newly introduced Challenger Series kicked off in Scone with nine riders. Willow Tree's Kyle Sternbeck took the event went with 76.50 points, moving up into the Challenger Series in 2026 alongside brother Cody from the Can-Am Junior Academy's Rising Star Division.

In the Junior Division, Noah Lowe from Barraba in NSW took the buckle, in Senior Division it was Bailey George from Singleton in NSW, and the Rising Stars buckle went to Baylee Proctor from Brisbane who also competed in the Challenger Series and took second place.

With Beaudesert’s packed lineup, homegrown Queensland talent, and the thrill of high-stakes competition, this weekend promises all the heart-stopping action, grit, and glory fans have come to expect from the PBR.
