Australia’s most senior political leaders will come together in Melbourne when Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Premier of Victoria Jacinta Allan and Leader of the Victorian Opposition Jess Wilson headline the Victorian Chamber and Herald Sun Present: Future Victoria Summit on Wednesday 25 February 2026.

Presented by Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with the Herald Sun, the Future Victoria Summit will bring together political leaders, industry experts and business decision-makers to explore what’s next for Victoria and how the State can grow smarter, stronger and more competitive.

Returning in 2026, the Future Victoria Summit will focus on building a SMART Victoria, with discussions centred on smart growth across digital innovation, education and skills, connectivity, infrastructure and visitor experiences.

Across the program, attendees will hear forward-looking insights on how Victoria can embrace technology, foster talent, improve liveability and strengthen our position as a dynamic hub for business, major events and economic development.

With a state election approaching, the Future Victoria Summit provides a rare opportunity to hear directly from leaders across the political spectrum and to engage in the conversations shaping Victoria’s future.

PUBLIC ALERT: Avoid the confusion and risk when choosing a legitimate qualified massage therapist

Members of the public seeking health‑focused remedial massage therapy or myotherapy services are encouraged to verify practitioners through the Australian Massage Directory before booking an appointment. We emphasise that this alert is not directed at lawful sex work, but the confusion caused by the inappropriate overlap of sex work with the provision of professional massage therapy health services. Fall in youth crime highlights need to focus on the real crime, not vulnerable teenagers

Statistics released today from the Crime Statistics Agency that show a 6per centfall in youth crime in Victoria up to March 2026, and a 1.9per centdecrease in recorded offences, are a sign that the Victorian Government’s Adult Time for Violent Crime laws are an over-reaction when evidence-based alternatives are more effective at making our community safe, according toJesuit Social Services. “The latest crime statistics cover a period whichlargely didnot include the Adult Time for Violent Crime laws – which only became fully operational at the end of February.Given that the evidence shows that incarceration only makes re-offending more likely compared with…
