WEST HQ TO BE AWASH IN GREEN & GOLD (+RED, WHITE & BLUE) AS ASIAN CUP FEVER ARRIVES

Official AFC Women’s Asian Cup Live Site Venue Set for Fan Surge in March, starting with the Matildas v Filipinas Clash

Western Sydney’s premier hospitality and entertainment venue and Official AFC Women’s Asian Cup Live Site - West HQ - is set to be one of the most visually dynamic atmospheres of the tournament when Australia takes on the Philippines this Sunday.

For the next month the venue is set to become the headquarters for local football fans, in particular supporters of Australia and the Philippines, given that:

  • West HQ previously served as the Western Sydney base for the Matildas during the FIFA Women’s World Cup, earning its reputation locally as the “Home of the Tillys.
  • Western Sydney is home to the largest Filipino communities in the country

Throughout the tournament, matches featuring Australia and the Philippines with be broadcast live throughout the venue on large screen at the precincts Eat Street Bar.

To support the tournament atmosphere, the precinct will also roll out a series of match-night activations, prize draws and offers designed to bring fans together across the precinct.

The colour, noise and celebrations anticipated for the tournament- including the highly anticipated kick off match of Matildas vs the Filipinas – will present great broadcast and photography opportunities.
