Maroochydore wine bar Breeze of Italy has marked its second birthday by expanding its culinary offering to include authentic takeaway-only panini lunches Monday to Thursday from 11am until 1.00pm.
Owner Bryan Gerlini says the new grab-and-go concept will give locals and visitors the chance to experience high-quality authentic Italian paninis in a quick and convenient format.
“The feedback we have received since opening in February last year has been nothing short of phenomenal and we wanted to ensure we perfected the night trade offer before venturing into offering a takeaway lunch service.
“If you go to any region in Italy you will find panini bars which offer quick and authentic street food. People are time poor and they don’t have time to wait for their lunch to be prepared so we have created an opportunity for locals, business people as well as tourists to pre-order their panini and enjoy fast, fresh and authentic Italian food. They are ideal for corporate lunches where you can bring a taste of Italy into your boardroom.”
Bryan said only a certain number of paninis will be made each day to ensure standards are high while staying true to the venue and the high quality created over the past year.
“We prefer to keep a limited amount of stock to ensure all our food is fresh so once the paninis are sold then we can’t make any more so to avoid missing out, we encourage customers to pre-order their takeaway via phone call or text at 0405 567 831 or [email protected],” he said.
