Diablo Resources Expands Star Range Silver-Antimony Project in Utah

Strategic land acquisition increases project footprint to ~5,242 acres (21.2km²) and extends mineralised trend at high-grade silver-antimony system

Diablo Resources Limited (ASX:DBO, OTCQB:DBORF) has expanded the footprint of its Star Range Critical Minerals Project in Utah, USA, securing additional ground adjacent to the high-priority South Star Prospect and strengthening the scale potential of the emerging silver-antimony system.

The Company has secured a Utah Trust Lands Administration (TLA) lease covering 646.5 acres, increasing the total project area to approximately 5,242 acres (21.2km²) across 238 unpatented lode claims and one state lease.

The newly acquired ground covers the south-eastern extension of the geological sequence hosting the South Star mineralised trend, where exploration has already identified a greater than 1km silver-antimony soil anomaly supported by high-grade rock samples including:

  • 8,760 g/t silver and >1% antimony

  • 1,609 g/t silver and 4.82 g/t gold

  • 231 g/t silver and 0.1% antimony

Historic workings and structural trends identified within the new tenure display orientations consistent with known mineralised zones, highlighting immediate targets for follow-up exploration.

The Star Range Project is located approximately 6km west of Milford in Beaver County, Utah, within a historically productive mining district that hosts the Horn Silver Mine, once among the largest silver producers in the United States.

Existing infrastructure in the area includes road access, nearby power and gas pipelines, and the Union Pacific railway line passing through Milford.

CEO Comment

Diablo Resources CEO Lyle Thorne commented:

“The increase in project size at Star Range via the addition of Utah TLA lease Section 32 consolidates our tenure over similar geology to that seen at South Star.

The Trust Lands Administration (TLA), formerly known as SITLA, is an independent state agency that holds stewardship over Utah’s 3.3 million acres of school trust lands used to generate revenue for public schools and institutions. We look forward to working with the TLA as exploration progresses at Star Range.

The Star Range Project is shaping to be an exciting project, and we plan to take advantage of the US Government’s and the State of Utah’s desire to secure domestic critical mineral supplies by striving for exploration success through continued exploration by our experienced US-team.”

Exploration Advancing

Field activities including geological mapping and geochemical sampling have commenced over the newly acquired ground as part of Diablo’s ongoing exploration program.

The Company has also completed an Induced Polarisation (IP) survey over the STAR-01 anomaly at the North Star Prospect, with results currently being processed.

Data from the IP survey will be integrated with other exploration results to finalise targets for a maiden drilling program planned for Q2 2026.

Growing Critical Minerals Opportunity

The Star Range Project sits within a structurally controlled Basin and Range geological setting known to host carbonate replacement deposits, breccia vein systems and skarn-style mineralisation, which historically produced lead, zinc, copper, gold and silver in the region.

The acquisition strengthens Diablo’s position within a prospective US critical minerals district, with the Company continuing to review additional opportunities across the United States.

Cement Concrete & Aggregates Australia

CCAA Calls for Urgent Recognition of Heavy Construction Materials Sector as Essential

Cement Concrete & Aggregates Australia (CCAA) has written to the Federal Government and all State and Territory Premiers and Chief Ministers, calling for the heavy construction materials industry to be formally recognised as an essential industry under any fuel prioritisation or rationing framework. The call comes amid growing concerns about fuel supply disruptions and the potential for diesel rationing, which would have immediate consequences for Australia’s construction supply chain, housing delivery and major infrastructure projects. CCAA Chief Executive Officer Michael Kilgariff said the heavy construction materials industry underpins the nation’s economy and must be prioritised to ensure continuity of supply.…
