Technology marketplace ranked #2 Best Place to Work for Women in Australia and New Zealand

SYDNEY, Australia - Australian technology company hipages Group has been recognised across multiple categories at the WORK180 Equitable Workplace Awards, including being named the #2 Best Place to Work for Women in Australia and New Zealand.

Hosted by WORK180, a global platform that helps women identify employers committed to workplace equity, the annual awards recognise organisations that are actively improving equity, diversity and opportunity in the workplace. hipages Group was recognised across four key categories at the 2026 awards: Inclusive and Anti-Discriminative Culture, Representative Leadership, Career Development, and industry leader for IT, Digital & Online Media Services.

The recognition reflects hipages Group’s ongoing investment in policies and initiatives designed to create meaningful opportunities for employees at all stages of their careers. These include support for women in leadership, flexible working arrangements, structured career development pathways and initiatives that promote a safe and inclusive workplace culture.

The company has also reported strong gender equity metrics, including a 50% gender split at board level with a female chair, 48% of management roles held by women and a 100% return-to-work rate following parental leave.

Workplace equity and flexible working policies have become a growing focus for Australian employers as organisations compete for talent in the technology and digital sectors.

Jodette Cleary, Chief People and Culture Officer at hipages Group, said the recognition reflects the culture employees have helped build together.

“Awards like these don’t happen because of policies alone – they happen because of the people who bring our culture to life every day,” Cleary said.

“This recognition reflects the environment we’ve built at hipages, where equity isn’t something we simply talk about – it’s embedded in how we work, support each other and create opportunity.”

The WORK180 Equitable Workplace Awards celebrate organisations that are setting new benchmarks for workplace equity and inclusion across industries.
