New Weekly Nepean Growers and Makers Market to Launch at The Orchard, Penrith
PENRITH, NSW | March 20, 2026 – AMA Markets is proud to announce the Grand Opening of the Nepean Growers and Makers Market, a new weekly destination for fresh produce and local craft, launching on Friday, 27th March.

Hosted at the iconic Penrith venue, The Orchard, the market will run every Friday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between local growers and the community, offering a new shopping experience in one of the region’s most picturesque settings.

Celebrating the theme of "Fresh, Local, and Handmade," the market will feature a curated selection of:
  • Seasonal Produce: Direct from local growers
  • Artisan Goods: Handcrafted creations from the Nepean and Blue Mountains regions.
  • Specialty Food: Small-batch preserves, baked goods, and gourmet treats.
“The Orchard is already a beloved community landmark, and adding a weekly Growers and Makers Market was the natural next step,” said Monique Annetts, AMA Event Management. “We wanted to create a consistent, weekly ritual where residents can stock up on fresh local produce while supporting the incredibly talented makers in our own backyard.”

The market launch on March 27th coincides with the venue's existing amenities, including the playground, farmhouse, the stables and making it an ideal Friday destination for families, retirees, and locals alike.

Stallholder Opportunities: AMA Event Management is currently finalising the debut lineup and is seeking permanent and casual stallholders offering high-quality fresh, local and handmade.
