PBR Australia unleashes 2026 ticket drop as season explodes to life

Bulls, buckles and big arenas: PBR Australia unleashes 2026 ticket drop as season explodes to life

After a blistering two-day buck fest in Beaudesert last weekend that reshaped the national standings and saw Mount Isa’s Donnie Rutherfurd ride to victory, tickets go on sale tomorrow (Friday, March 6) for the next wave of 2026 PBR Australia events. Images and vision from Beaudesert here and 2025 season highlights here

Fans can secure their seats for Monster Energy Tour stops in Nowra (May 9), Cairns (July 4), Melbourne (August15), Adelaide (August 22) and Caboolture (August 29), as the toughest sport on dirt continues its cross-country charge.

In huge news for southern fans, PBR storms back into Melbourne’s John Cain Arena and Adelaide’s Adelaide Entertainment Centre in August for the first time this year since 2019, bringing world-class bull riding back to two of Australia’s premier arenas.

Following Beaudesert the leaderboard is already tightening. With Queensland’s Donnie Rutherfurd climbing to No. 1 in the national race, and reigning contenders jostling for position, the pressure is building early in what’s shaping up to be a defining season.

“2026 is already shaping up to be a hotly contested season,” PBR Australia Managing Director Glen Young said. “This year will see over a million dollars in posted prizemoney and bonuses awarded to cowboys, with more than 29 events scheduled from as far north as Cairns right down the east coast to Adelaide.”

“It’s going to be a hectic season from start to finish, which will see our regular road warriors back on tour as well as a number of internationals looking to come and participate, all chasing the Gold Buckle and $100,000 year-end bonus. This could potentially be the season where new records are broken.”

With Origin aspirations also looming, every ride now carries added weight.

The fiercely contested PBR Origin Series returns in 2026 after the Blues made history claiming their first-ever title last year; and the mighty Maroons are out for revenge, bull riding style. Origin begins in Newcastle on May 30, before heading to Brisbane on June 6, and culminating in Sydney at the TikTok Entertainment Centre on August 1. Tickets are already on sale for Origin.

With over a million dollars on the line, interstate pride at stake, and national standings starting to take shape, the 2026 PBR Australia season is building serious momentum, and tomorrow’s ticket release is the next chapter.
