The 2026 Ballarat Memory Walk & Jog is just weeks away, with the event taking place on Saturday 2 May at Lake Wendouree Gardens.
As Dementia Australia’s largest annual fundraising initiative, Memory Walk & Jog brings communities together to get active, get connected and support Australians living with dementia, their families and carers.
In 2026, an estimated 113,900 people live with dementia in Victoria. Dementia is now the leading cause of death for Australians, and without significant intervention, the number of Australians living with dementia is expected to increase to more than one million by 2065.
In 2026, 14 Memory Walk & Jog events are scheduled nation-wide, giving people across Australia the opportunity to take part. You can find your closest event at memorywalk.com.au/find-an-event.
Come together with your community for a fun, family-friendly day where people of all ages and abilities can walk, jog or run to support the 446,500 Australians living with dementia and 1.7 million people involved in their care. Each event is a welcoming space to connect, share stories, and raise much needed funds for Dementia Australia.
