Motherland is inviting mums from across Dubbo and the wider Central West/Orana region to come together for a special Mother’s Day event celebrating connection, community and the strength of rural women.
The Mother’s Day brunch will be held on Sunday 17 May at the Dubbo Rhino Lodge Function Hall, offering a welcoming space for women to connect, share stories and feel supported, while raising vital funds for national charity Motherland.
Motherland supports rural mothers across Australia by reducing isolation and improving mental health through its programs, events and online community, including a virtual mothers group program accessible to women with children aged up to 18, no matter where they live.
The Dubbo event will feature a grazing-style brunch, welcome drink, pop-up marketplace and a panel of local rural women - Kaitie Nash, Amanda Ferrari and Sonja Chrystal - sharing honest and deeply relatable experiences of motherhood. The conversation will be facilitated by Motherland Founder and CEO Stephanie Trethewey.
Since launching in 2019, Motherland has supported thousands of women nationwide. Funds raised from the event will help expand support services across New South Wales, ensuring more rural mothers can access connection and community.
