Landmark Surf Park to break ground on Sunshine Coast later this year
Sunshine Coast based Surf Farm has announced that Global Shred Ventures (GSV) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate in finalising Development and Equity Partnership arrangements in the wave park development and operating companies.
The partnership is a major milestone in delivering one of Australia’s most significant surf and lifestyle destinations which is located near the iconic Glass House Mountains on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
Surf Farm will feature a 62 module Wavegarden Cove their most advanced and versatile system to
date. The project will combine premium surf experiences with integrated food and beverage, retail and wellness offerings, creating a destination designed for both local communities as well as domestic and international tourism.
Adam Lamond, Executive Chairman of Global Shred Ventures, said that as the development partner and equity participant, GSV will help oversee project delivery and long-term operational strategy, drawing on its international experience in surf and experience-based leisure assets.
