Adelaide, SA – May 4 2026 – Adelaide-based Guardian Insurance Brokers has been named Insurance Business Australia’s Large Brokerage of the Year for the second consecutive year, reinforcing its position as one of the nation’s leading insurance brokerages.

The award recognises excellence across client outcomes, customer retention, service proposition, financial performance, sustainable growth and stakeholder engagement. Winning the title two years in a row places Guardian in a highly select group of brokerages nationally.

Guardian Chief Executive Officer Angelo Stathopoulos said the consecutive win was a powerful endorsement of the firm’s client-first philosophy and long-term strategy.

“It’s an enormous achievement to win this award once. To be recognised again, in consecutive years, is testament to our entire team’s unwavering commitment to putting our clients’ interests first,” Mr Stathopoulos said.

“We are deliberate about building long-term relationships, investing in capability, and delivering advice that stands up when it matters most. I’m incredibly proud of our people and the standards they hold themselves to every day.”

The judging panel assessed brokerages on a broad range of qualitative and quantitative measures, including client retention, customer service proposition, financial results, growth trajectory, and engagement with insurers, staff and the wider business community.

Guardian’s performance reflects continued investment in talent, systems and advisory capability, alongside a strong focus on advocacy and claims support for clients across South Australia and beyond.

Managing Director, Evan Jackson said the recognition reflected disciplined execution rather than short-term growth.

“This award speaks to consistency,” Evan said.

“Our focus has been on doing the fundamentals exceptionally well; clear advice, responsive service, strong insurer partnerships and rigorous governance, while continuing to evolve as our clients’ risks and expectations change.”

Mr Stathopoulos added that the firm’s success was shared with clients and partners who place their trust in Guardian.

“This recognition belongs as much to our clients and referral partners as it does to our team. Their trust allows us to do meaningful work and continually raise the bar.”

The Insurance Business Australia Awards are among the industry’s most respected benchmarks, recognising excellence and leadership across the Australian insurance sector.
