Attend The Salvation Army’s Caloundra Red Shield Appeal Business Event

On Wednesday 13 May, The Salvation Army will officially launch The Salvation Army’s 2026 Red Shield Appeal in Caloundra, with a breakfast with Caloundra’s most influential businesspeople at the Caloundra RSL.

Local Civic leaders, along with the business networks of Caloundra (Chamber of Commerce, Rotary club, etc), the event will be encouraging the business community to continue their support of The Salvation Army’s frontline services and fundraising drive in Caloundra with a focus on helping women experiencing domestic violence and homelessness.

Joining business leaders of Caloundra will be The Salvation Army Area Officer, Major Donna Todd and Queensland Divisional Commander Major Mark Everitt.

Media can attend the event and will have opportunities for interview with Salvation Army spokespersons and case studies.

The Red Shield Appeal, which includes community and shopping-centre collections, online donations via a digital doorknock and culminates in the traditional doorknock appeal across the weekend of 30-31 May, is vital in enabling The Salvation Army to continue providing help to people in need.

The national fundraising target for the 2026 Red Shield Appeal is $41 million.
