Paradism Day May 1st Which elites for the age of AI?
Las Vegas, May 1, 2026 Members of the Paradism Movement around the world will celebrate Paradism Day, highlighting what they describe as a historic turning point: the transition from a society shaped by scarcity to one made possible by artificial intelligence, robotics, and abundance.
According to the movement, technological progress is rapidly making work and money obsolete, opening the door to a new “golden age” where human life can be centered on fulfillment rather than survival.
“For the first time in history, humanity has the tools to create a world of abundance for all,” said Jarel, Raelian Guide, leader of the Paradism Movement. “But technology alone will not determine our future—it is the people who control it.”
While automation promises unprecedented productivity, the movement warns that current economic and political systems are not designed for a world without human labor.
“Our social, political, and economic systems were built for scarcity,” Jarel explained. “If we do not adapt, we risk systemic collapse instead of liberation.”
Paradism proposes a new societal model adapted to this emerging reality—one where neither work nor money are necessary for a meaningful life. However, the movement emphasizes that the greatest risk is not technological, but human.
“The real danger is not artificial intelligence,” Jarel stated. “It is placing immense power in the hands of individuals who lack the emotional maturity and ethical grounding to use it wisely.”
Paradism advocates argue that many current leadership structures were shaped by centuries of competition, conflict, and scarcity—conditions that often reward dominance over empathy. In the age of powerful technologies, they say, this model of leadership has become an existential threat.
As part of Paradism Day, activists will organize public events and invite citizens—particularly in Europe—to support initiatives calling for higher ethical and psychological standards for political leaders. A petition registered with the European Parliament is one such effort.
“Whether we reach the golden age or return to the stone age, depends on who we choose to lead us,” Jarel concluded. “We stand at the threshold of a golden age—but reaching it requires conscious, responsible leadership.”
