Why are over 500 Muslim women and girls gathering in Western Sydney at Australia’s largest mosque?

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia Women’s Auxiliary in Sydney is hosting its Annual Religious Knowledge Convention on the 8th, 9th and 10th of May 2026

 

The National Convention 2026 is set to bring together women and girls from across the country for a weekend focused on faith, well being, and personal growth.

In addition to academic competitions, the program features impactful sessions at the Lajna (ladies) Hub, including Healthy Ageing and Enhancing Brain Function, Spiritual Readiness for Marriage, Trust in God, and Raising Divinely Anchored Children.

The Nasirat (girls) Hub will engage younger attendees with sessions such as Friendship: Choosing the Right Circle and Circadian Rhythm: Micro-habits and Our Precious Brains.

The event will also include sporting activities for all ages, promoting physical well being alongside spiritual and intellectual development.

This convention offers a unique platform for connection, reflection, and empowerment, equipping attendees with practical tools to navigate modern life with faith and purpose.
