MEDIA RELEASE - 3 July 2026

Specialist workforce solutions firm Allygroup has announced a strengthened executive leadership team as it continues to expand its range of legal and consulting services across Commonwealth and State Government service panels.

The key changes include:

  • The elevation of Robert Brigden to Joint-Chief Executive Officer - alongside Allygroup founder Joanne Rees
  • The appointment of Priti Narayan as Chief Financial Officer
  • The promotion of William Mackay to Chief Growth Officer.

The enhanced leadership structure positions Allygroup for its next phase of growth and reflects increasing demand for the firm's specialist legal, workforce, governance and consulting expertise across government and regulated sectors.

Robert Brigden joined Allygroup in mid-2025. He brings almost two decades of distinguished experience as an employment lawyer, workplace relations adviser and litigator, with a career spanning both private practice and senior in-house legal and executive roles across Commonwealth agencies - including the Australian Federal Police and Airservices Australia.

At the Department of Parliamentary Services, Robert was acting as First Assistant Secretary, overseeing legal, human resources, audit and governance functions.

Robert’s appointment as Joint CEO and Chief Legal Officer reflects both his outstanding public sector expertise and the significant leadership role he continues to play in Allygroup's growth and development.

William Mackay has been promoted to Chief Growth Officer, recognising his outstanding contribution to building trusted stakeholder partnerships across government, industry and the broader professional services sector. William has played a pivotal role in recent years in strengthening Allygroup’s client relationships and business development pipeline.

Priti Narayan has commenced in the dual roles of Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer. Priti brings extensive accounting and financial leadership experience,  and a strong track record in financial management (including government agencies), governance, operational performance and organisational growth. Her appointment will support Allygroup's continued expansion and long-term strategic objectives.

Positioned for continued growth

Allygroup founders Joanne Rees (joint CEO) and Bruce Clarke (Chairman) said the strengthened executive team reflects the firm's commitment to investing in leadership capability, client service excellence and sustainable growth.

"These appointments bring together outstanding expertise across legal services, finance and business growth. As demand for high-quality, value-for-money specialist services continues to grow across government and corporate sectors, we are investing in the leadership, capability and partnerships that will enable Allygroup to deliver even greater value to our clients."
