- Under Minister D'Ambrosio's leadership, the Victorian Government released the 2025 Extractive Resources Joint Ministerial Statement, establishing a cross-government framework to improve planning, streamline approvals, and strengthen resource security.
- The CCAA particularly recognised the Government's progress on Strategic Extractive Resource Areas, which aim to protect access to high-quality quarry resources and provide greater long-term certainty for industry and the community.

Cement Concrete & Aggregates Australia (CCAA) has acknowledged the contribution of Victorian Minister for Energy and Resources, the Hon. Lily D'Ambrosio MP, following her announcement that she will step down from Cabinet and not recontest the 2026 State Election.
CCAA Chief Executive Officer Michael Kilgariff thanked Minister D'Ambrosio for her constructive engagement with industry throughout her tenure, particularly in advancing policy reforms to support the long-term supply of essential construction materials.
"The extractive resources sector has valued Minister D'Ambrosio's willingness to engage with industry on the challenges facing Victoria's quarry sector and the importance of maintaining secure supplies of construction materials for the state's growing infrastructure and housing pipeline," Mr Kilgariff said.
"Under the Minister's leadership, the Victorian Government released the 2025 Extractive Resources Joint Ministerial Statement, providing a clear cross-government framework to improve planning, streamline approvals and strengthen long-term resource security for the sector."
"CCAA particularly acknowledges the Government's work to progress Strategic Extractive Resource Areas, recognising the importance of protecting access to high-quality quarry resources close to where they are needed and providing greater long-term certainty for both industry and the community."
The Joint Ministerial Statement also recognised the importance of ongoing collaboration between government and industry, with CCAA identified as a key partner in supporting the sustainable growth of Victoria's extractive resources sector.
"Victoria's extractive resources industry plays a critical role in delivering the construction materials required to build homes, schools, hospitals, transport infrastructure and renewable energy projects," Mr Kilgariff said.
