CIMIC Group company CPB Contractors, in joint venture with Nacap, has been selected by Seqwater to deliver Stage 1 of the Toowoomba to Warwick (T2W) Pipeline on behalf of the Queensland Government.

A key drought resilience initiative for Southeast Queensland, Stage 1 will deliver a 47-kilometre pipeline from Toowoomba to Greenmount, enabling permanent water supply to the growing communities of Nobby, Cambooya, Greenmount and Clifton.

CPB Contractors will receive an estimated $75 million in revenue.

ACS Group and HOCHTIEF Chief Executive Officer and CIMIC Group Executive Chairman Juan Santamaría said:

“CPB Contractors has proudly delivered more than 100 major water infrastructure projects Australia-wide. Through our partnership with Nacap and Seqwater, we look forward to bringing this expertise to the Toowoomba to Warwick Pipeline, helping strengthen water security across Toowoomba and the Darling Downs by providing critical drought contingency water supply to the region.”

CPB Contractors Managing Director Craig Nuttall said:

“This project represents an important investment in water security for regional Queensland. We are committed to delivering the pipeline safely and efficiently while maximising opportunities for local employment, training and Indigenous participation throughout delivery.”

The CPB Contractors-Nacap joint venture brings together extensive experience in pipeline construction, regional infrastructure delivery and stakeholder engagement, with a proven ability to deliver works across challenging ground conditions.
