Eaoron Reports Topical Hyaluronic Demand Rising as Filler Appetite Softens

Key Facts:
  • Australian skincare brand Eaoron reports rising demand for its topical hyaluronic acid range as consumers move away from injectable dermal fillers in favour of at-home skincare routines.
  • Industry forecasters expect dermal filler treatments to continue declining through 2026, with consumers preferring approaches that strengthen skin over time rather than providing short-term plumping effects.
  • Unlike injectable fillers, which place cross-linked hyaluronic acid under the skin in a clinical setting, topical hyaluronic acid works at the skin's surface and can be applied at home at significantly lower cost.
  • Founded in 2014 and manufactured in Australia, Eaoron produces around 50 million units annually and exports to 20 markets, with its glutathione essence being its best-selling product.
  • Eaoron's CEO Fernando Rodriguez believes the shift reflects consumers prioritising long-term skin health over dramatic, immediate results, predicting that topical skincare represents the next decade of growth in the category.

SYDNEY, Australia, 29 July 2026: Eaoron, Australia's largest skincare export brand, says demand for its topical hyaluronic acid range is climbing as Australians move away from injectable dermal fillers toward skincare they apply themselves.

The shift is being tracked across the industry. Australian beauty forecasters expect continued decline in dermal filler treatments through 2026, with clients favouring approaches that strengthen the skin over time rather than plump it on a cycle. Both use the same molecule, hyaluronic acid, but by very different routes. Injectable filler places cross-linked hyaluronic acid under the skin in a clinic and fades over months. Topical hyaluronic acid works at the surface, holding water in the outer layers, and is applied at home for a fraction of the cost.

Eaoron's range covers that surface routine across four steps: toner, lotion, cream and a glutathione essence that is the range's best seller. Founded in 2014 and manufactured in Australia by Australian United Pharmaceuticals, the brand produces roughly 50 million units a year and exports to 20 markets, with the essence descended from an original 2014 formula that sold more than 10 million units in its first year.

"The needle and the bottle get talked about as rivals, but they do different jobs," said Fernando Rodriguez, CEO of Eaoron. "What we are seeing is people who want the everyday version, hydration they control, at home, without booking anything."

Rodriguez said the move reflects a longer change in how people judge results. "For a decade the market rewarded the dramatic, the plump you could see the day of the appointment. That is turning. People are asking what their skin looks like in five years, not five minutes, and a daily hydration habit is a more honest answer to that question than a syringe every few months. We think topical is where the next decade of growth sits."
