Juliet Lamont is attending Canberra Magistrates Court today, Wednesday 8 July 2026, at  9.30am for Protest Against Arming Israel

Film maker and campaigner Juliet Lamont will be appearing before the ACT Magistrates Court tomorrow for a mention of charges relating to occupation of the roof of EOS Systems in Canberra with fellow campaigners on 20 July 2025.

She is being represented by Bernard Collaery.

The community action arose from objections to the export of Australian made lethal materiel to Israel during a genocide. It is claimed that such exports contravene international law.

Last Sunday night 4 July 2026 hundreds of members of Australian Palestinian Advocacy Network (APAN) gave Ms Lamont a standing ovation for her heroic work as leader of the Australian delegation of the Global Sumud Flotilla.

Abuse by Israel of Ms Lamont and other Australians is now the subject of an AFP enquiry.
