- Pantera Minerals has awarded a drilling contract to Dycus 3D Drilling Company for the first known modern drill programme at its 100%-owned Gillham Antimony-Silver Project in Arkansas, with drilling scheduled to begin in the third week of August 2026.
- The 10-hole diamond drilling campaign will cover approximately 1,500 metres, targeting mineralisation beneath three historic mining areas: the Davis, Stewart and May mines.
- Surface sampling conducted in 2026 returned high-grade results, including rock-chip samples of up to 19.2 per cent antimony with 12.25 grams per tonne silver, and soil sampling identified two coherent antimony anomalies extending approximately 400 metres and 500 metres along strike.
- The campaign, expected to take four to six weeks, represents the first subsurface test of targets identified through Pantera's 2026 rock-chip and soil sampling programmes, moving the company beyond surface exploration into drill-based assessment.
- Assay results will be released as they are received and interpreted, with findings to be incorporated into the Gillham geological model to guide potential follow-up and step-out drilling across the project's broader target pipeline.
29 July 2026 – Perth, WA | Pantera Minerals (ASX: PFE) has awarded a drilling contract for the first known modern drill program at its Gillham Antimony-Silver Project in Arkansas, advancing the project from high-grade surface sampling to direct testing beneath three historic mining areas.
The 10-hole diamond drilling campaign will cover approximately 1,500 metres and target mineralisation beneath the historic Davis, Stewart and May mines at Pantera’s 100%-owned project.
Dycus 3D Drilling Company has been appointed to undertake the program, with drilling scheduled to begin in the third week of August. The campaign is expected to take between four and six weeks to complete, with assay results to be released as they are received, validated and interpreted.
The program represents the first subsurface test of targets Pantera has developed through its 2026 rock-chip and soil sampling campaigns.
At the Stewart and May prospects, rock-chip samples returned grades of up to 19.2 per cent antimony with 12.25 grams per tonne silver. A separate sample returned 7.55 per cent antimony, 63.8g/t silver, 7.44 per cent lead and 8.6 per cent zinc.
Soil sampling has also identified two coherent antimony anomalies extending for approximately 400 metres and 500 metres along strike. These anomalies sit within a broader antimony trend extending for about two kilometres, providing the geological basis for drill testing beneath the historic workings.
The Davis mine, the largest historical operation within the Gillham project area, will also be tested. Previous rock-chip sampling at Davis identified silver and base metal mineralisation, including results of 4.79 per cent lead, 0.22 per cent copper and 20.5g/t silver.
Pantera Executive Chairman and CEO Barnaby Egerton-Warburton said:
“Executing this drilling contract marks the beginning of one of the most important milestones in Pantera’s history. Within weeks we will commence the first known drilling ever undertaken at the Gillham Project. Our 2026 sampling programs delivered exceptional grades – rock chips up to 19.2% antimony and 63.8g/t silver, and soils peaking at 2,660ppm Sb – and every one of these ten holes is designed to test mineralisation at depth beneath the historic Davis, Stewart and May mines.
Antimony is a designated critical mineral in the United States and with the rig turning in the third week of August, shareholders can look forward to a steady flow of news through the remainder of the year.”
The drilling will provide Pantera with its first direct information on the geology and continuity of mineralisation below the historical mines, moving the company beyond surface exploration and into drill-based assessment of its priority targets.
Pantera is now finalising drill-pad access and site preparation ahead of the contractor’s mobilisation in August. Results from the program will be incorporated into the Gillham geological model and used to guide any potential follow-up and step-out drilling across the project’s broader target pipeline.
