Sarazin today celebrated the official sod turning of The Stanley, marking the commencement of construction on the landmark 35 storey residential development in Woolloongabba, after securing more than $220 million in apartment sales ahead of its public release.
The milestone follows the recent approval of the development by Economic Development Queensland (EDQ), with The Stanley forming part of the Woolloongabba Priority Development Area (PDA)—one of Brisbane's most significant urban renewal precincts.
The strong pre-release campaign has already seen close to half of the residences secured, highlighting strong buyer confidence in both the project and Woolloongabba's long-term future.
The sod turning ceremony, attended by project partners, consultants and stakeholders, marks the commencement of construction on the 35-level luxury residential tower, designed by GroupGSA and to be constructed by Hutchinson Builders.
A defining feature of The Stanley is its expansive double-storey rooftop amenity precinct, designed to deliver a true resort-style living experience. The rooftop will feature an infinity pool, steam rooms, saunas, yoga lawn, state-of-the-art gymnasium, private dining room, cinema, games lounge, golf simulator, boardroom, dedicated work-from-home spaces, wine cellar and residents' wine lounge, offering one of Brisbane's most comprehensive collections of luxury resident amenities.
