PERTH, 6 August 2026 — NH3 Clean Energy Limited (ASX: NH3) has completed a $4 million placement before costs, strengthening its capacity to progress Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) work for the WAH2 clean ammonia project.
The Company will issue 50 million shares at $0.08 each. The placement attracted commitments above target and was supported predominantly by institutional investors. The issue price represents an 18.4% discount to NH3’s last closing price of $0.098.
Proceeds will be directed primarily toward WAH2 FEED activities as NH3 advances project milestones and works toward a future final investment decision. NH3 is developing WAH2 to supply low-emissions ammonia to export and domestic markets at scale, using renewable energy to the greatest extent practicable.
The placement comes as Asia-Pacific economies plan for increased ammonia use. Japan’s Strategic Energy Plan retains targets of up to 3 million tonnes annually by 2030, 12 million tonnes by 2040 and approximately 20 million tonnes by 2050. The IEA identifies ammonia production and maritime bunkering as key opportunities for low-emissions hydrogen adoption in Southeast Asia.
Chairman Charles Whitfield says:
"We would like to thank investors for their strong support in this raise as the Company nears this phase of project development. The money allows the Company to be well capitalised as we approach key milestones for project delivery."
Curran & Co acted as lead manager and bookrunner.
