Infosys and Young Change Agents strengthen collaboration to create greater impact for young people across Australia and New Zealand

Edelman on behalf of Infosys 2 mins read

Infosys is strengthening its collaboration with Young Change Agents to expand the Impact Boss program across Australia and support its introduction in New Zealand. Impact Boss is a youth entrepreneurship program that empowers young people to identify real-world challenges, develop innovative solutions and build the confidence, skills and agency to create positive social and economic impact. The initiative will help young people build the skills to develop solutions to real-world challenges, with a focus on youth agency, economic resilience, and equitable access to opportunities.

The initiative aligns with Infosys’ commitment to education and skilling. Infosys has reached 15+ million people through its digital skilling initiatives over the past five years. Through its ESG Vision 2030, Infosys aims to amplify human potential and extend digital skills to 18 million people by 2030, with a focus on students, teachers, and underrepresented communities.

Over the next year, Infosys and Young Change Agents will aim to deliver Impact Boss to 500 students across Australia and New Zealand. The initiative will prioritise First Nations young people in Australia and Māori, Pasifika, and other underserved young people in New Zealand, while capturing stories of hope, agency, and economic resilience. It will also create volunteering opportunities for Infosys teams, including a Living Lab activation where students will pitch their ideas to Infosys employees as panellists and mentors.

The initiative builds on several years of work between Infosys and Young Change Agents in Australia and extends this impact into New Zealand for the first time. With an equity-focused approach, Impact Boss aims to create new pathways for young people to develop entrepreneurial capabilities, strengthen their confidence, and engage with opportunities that support future economic participation.

The relationship between Infosys and Young Change Agents began in 2022, when the Climate Action Design Thinking Challenge went live on Infosys Springboard, Infosys’ free digital learning platform that promotes equitable access to world-class educational resources and skills development opportunities. In 2023, Infosys sponsored the Global Credential of Entrepreneurial Education alongside Telstra Foundation. Infosys subsequently deepened its support by extending its backing of the Global Credential and sponsoring the Indigenous Entrepreneur of the Year category at the 2025 Teens in Business Awards. Infosys employees also participated as judges and mentors, supporting young entrepreneurs throughout the program.

Through its expanded collaboration with Young Change Agents, Infosys will continue to bring together digital skilling, employee volunteering, mentorship, and entrepreneurship opportunities to help more young people across Australia and New Zealand build the capabilities and confidence to create positive social and economic impact.
