mecwacare has strengthened its services with the acquisition of Evergreen Retirement Village Pakenham, expanding its integrated model of care and support for older Victorians in one of Melbourne’s significant south-eastern growth areas.

mecwacare already supports the Pakenham community through its strong network of home care services, as well as social support groups at Rivendell House for people over 65. Programs include strength training, social activities and outings, as well as activities for NDIS participants. Evergreen Retirement Village Pakenham expands mecwacare’s growing network and strengthens its commitment to independence, wellbeing and connection.
The village, now operating as mecwacare Evergreen Retirement Village Pakenham, is mecwacare’s eighth retirement village. It comprises 76 independent living units and is home to 92 residents, including 18 couples.
Residents will continue to enjoy an independent lifestyle while having access to a broader range of services and support as their needs evolve.
