Adelaide family wins a cleaner for a year in OzKleen’s nationwide competition

OzKleen 2 mins read

OzKleen celebrates the everyday satisfaction of a great clean while delivering practical support to a busy South Australian household and creating work for a local cleaning business.

Gold Coast, 27 October 2026 — Australian cleaning brand OzKleen has named Adelaide mother of two Chanae Dorothy as the winner of its “Win a Cleaner for a Year” competition, awarding her household cleaning services for 12 months.

The competition invited Australians to share their “most satisfying clean”. OzKleen received entries by email and across its social media channels, including dramatic before-and-after transformations and inventive examples of how customers use OzKleen products in their homes.

Chanae’s entry stood out for its relatable snapshot of family life. She is caring for a toddler and a baby, while her husband can work shifts of up to 12 hours. The prize is designed to give the family back valuable time and remove one recurring household task from an already full schedule.

OzKleen created the competition as a practical community initiative at a time when many households are carefully managing both time and money. Rather than making broad claims about individual financial circumstances, the campaign focuses on a tangible form of support: professional cleaning that can ease pressure at home for an entire year.

OzKleen also intends to appoint an Adelaide-based cleaning company to deliver the service, directing the prize spend into the winner’s local community. The selected provider will be announced once contracting, insurance, safety and scheduling requirements are complete.

“We loved seeing the pride, creativity and real-life results in the entries. Chanae’s story reminded us that a clean home can feel deeply satisfying, but the time it takes is precious. We hope this prize gives her family more breathing room throughout the year.” — Monica Parker – National Account & Marketing Manager at OzKleen

“With two little ones and long workdays in our household, this prize will make a genuine difference. We’re excited to have more time together and one less big job on the weekly list.” — Chanae Dorothy

The winning clean and selected community entries will be shared across OzKleen’s channels, subject to entrant permissions. OzKleen thanks everyone who entered and helped turn everyday cleaning into a celebration of ingenuity, transformation and household pride.
