Enerven has been named Large Business of the Year at the 2026 South Australian Premier's Business and Export Awards.

The award recognises the achievements of a large South Australian business, including its impact within its industry, leadership and commitment to excellence.

Enerven Chief Executive Officer Richard Amato said the award was a significant achievement for the business and, importantly, recognition of the people behind its continued growth.

"This recognition belongs to our people," Mr Amato said. "Our success is built on the expertise, commitment and hard work of our teams across South Australia and around the country.

"We’re incredibly proud of the culture we’ve built at Enerven. It’s helped us attract some of the best people in the industry."

"The scale and pace of Australia’s energy transition is changing what’s expected of businesses like ours.

"We’re delivering increasingly complex projects across the country, and that growth is creating opportunities not only for Enerven, but for South Australian skills and expertise to play a much bigger role nationally."

Mr Amato said receiving the award in South Australia was particularly meaningful for Enerven as the business continues to grow nationally.

"While our work now takes us right across the country, our roots are firmly planted in South Australia. To be recognised alongside so many other great South Australian businesses, is something we’re very proud of."
