Noosa agency Made Neat strikes Gold at the international w3 Awards

Made Neat 3 mins read

Noosa-based WordPress agency Made Neat has won eight awards, at the 21st annual w3 Awards, including one Gold award and 7 Silver.

The Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) announced the winners on the 30th of September. The w3 Awards is an international program  judged by AIVA, with jurors from organisations including Google, Netflix, Microsoft and Stanford University. Entries are scored out of 10, and a Gold Award requires a score of 9 or above.

Made Neat entered five websites, four built for clients, as well as Inklings which is the agency’s own AI-powered handwriting analysis platform. All five were recognised, taking home one Gold and seven Silver awards. The Gold was awarded to the website for high-end Brisbane based custom builder Emwinn Constructions in the Home Renovation category.

"We don’t build websites to win awards, it’s all about great design and functionality in order to bring in more work for our clients,” said Made Neat Managing Director Luke Humble. “Seeing every site we entered recognised by an international jury is a great result for my team and more importantly, for our clients.”

Mr Humble said the results showed that a Sunshine Coast based agency can compete internationally.

“People on the Sunshine Coast often assume you need a Sydney or Melbourne agency for work at this level. Our websites were assessed against the same standard as work for Bank of America, Cisco and Pfizer, and every site we entered came home with an award. You don’t need to be in a capital city, and our clients don’t need global budgets, to get work that stands up internationally. We run our business from Noosa with a team across Australia and overseas, which gives our clients access to the very best talent,” he said.

Mr Humble said the Gold award for the Emwinn Constructions website was designed to reflect the quality of the builder’s work from the very first click.

"For a high-end builder, the website is the first example of their attention to detail, so the design had to show off the same craftsmanship as the homes themselves. Large architectural photography and a clean, premium layout let the homes speak for themselves.

"We also made it easy for every visitor to find what they need. Whether someone wants a new home, a renovation or a full design-and-build service, the site guides them straight to the right place, and enquiries arrive already sorted by project type.”

Inklings won both of its Silver awards in AI categories. It is also a finalist in three categories at the 2026 Australian Web Awards.

“Inklings is our own product, so we live with every decision we make on it, from how fast it loads to which features people actually use,” Luke said. “That makes us better at building for our clients, and seeing it recognised in two AI categories alongside our client work tells us we’re getting that balance right.”

Modular Farms Australia owner James Pateras said the award recognised a website that tells a complex story clearly.

“Modular Farms is about sustainable food production and building a more resilient food system, and that isn’t a simple story to tell online. Made Neat took the time to understand what we do and build a website that tells it more clearly. The award is great recognition, but what matters more to us is the conversations and opportunities the site keeps creating.”
