VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Oct. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Orezone Gold Corporation (TSX: ORE | ASX: ORE | OTCQX: ORZCF) (the “Company” or “Orezone”) is pleased to announce its production results for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2026. The Company will release its third quarter 2026 financial results after market close on Monday, November 16, 2026. Conference call and webcast details are provided at the end of this release.
Patrick Downey, President and CEO, commented “Orezone continued its strong operational momentum through Q3, achieving record production of just under 60,000oz for the quarter. The Company expects Q4 to be yet another record-breaking quarter, with operations at both Bomboré and Casa Berardi to benefit from an increase of higher-grade direct feed ore. Orezone remains well positioned to achieve its production targets at both operations and reiterates its 2026 production guidance.
During Q3, the Company announced the results of the Casa Berardi Life-of-Mine study, which highlighted a 14-year mine life with annual average production of 116,000oz at an All-In Sustaining Cost of $1,877 per ounce1. Catalysts through the balance of the year include exploration results from both Bomboré and Casa Berardi, and a PEA on the Heva-Hosco development project located in Quebec.”

Bomboré Operations
Bomboré delivered another solid operating quarter, with tonnes mined exceeding plan. Mining at the high-grade P17 pit focussed on waste stripping in the quarter allowing the quantity of ore released from this pit to improve towards the end of Q3. Additional access to high-grade direct feed ore is scheduled in Q4 which will contribute to greater gold production from hard rock operations.
Processing performance also remained strong in the quarter, with both oxide and hard rock circuits continuing to operate well above nameplate design while maintaining recoveries in line with expectations.
Casa Berardi Operations
Casa Berardi’s gold production was on target in Q3 despite a 7-day suspension of operations in July due to local wildfire activity. Quarterly mill throughput averaged 4,195 tonnes per day (“tpd”) versus planned annual of 3,900 tpd with gold recoveries averaging 89% versus 84% planned.
Completion of the F160 pit waste stripping program in Q3, together with continued operating improvements, position Q4 to be Casa Berardi’s strongest production quarter for the year. Q4 will benefit from increased higher-grade open pit ore, eliminating the need to supplement mill feed with lower-grade stockpiled material as was required in Q3.
Underground production and development rates continued to ramp-up in Q3, supported by the ongoing expansion of the underground workforce and new equipment deliveries. During Q3, Casa Berardi received four additional mobile equipment units, bringing the year-to-date deliveries to seven of the eight planned units for 2026.

The Company continued to strengthen its leadership team with the appointments of Sophie Bertrand as Vice President, Sustainability, and Christian Bruneau as Vice President, General Manager of Orezone Quebec, effective October 1, 2026 and September 28, 2026, respectively.
