Adelaide, South Australia – From familiar South Australian brands to emerging businesses and rising industry talent, the finalists in the 2026 South Australian Premier’s Food and Beverage Industry Awards have been announced today by Food South Australia.

Together, they reflect the strength and breadth of the state’s food and beverage sector, spanning primary producers, manufacturers, hospitality businesses and service providers, alongside individuals making their mark across the industry.

This year’s Awards recognise achievement across 17 categories. The new Marketing Impact and People & Culture Awards celebrate how businesses connect with customers and invest in their teams, while the Innovation Award encompasses advances in processes and technology, including AI. The State Contribution Award acknowledges interstate and international organisations making a significant contribution through their South Australian manufacturing operations.

Food South Australia CEO, Tori Dixon-Whittle said the finalists reflect the excellence and ambition that have established South Australia as one of the world’s leading food and beverage regions.

“South Australia produces exceptional food and beverages and has earned international recognition for its quality, provenance and innovation,” Ms Dixon-Whittle said.

“What continues to impress me is the drive across the sector – businesses are innovating, expanding into new markets and continually lifting the benchmark. This year’s finalists demonstrate the depth of talent and enterprise we have here in South Australia.

“Being named a finalist is a significant achievement, and I congratulate every one of them.”

Premier Peter Malinauskas said the finalists were showcasing the best of South Australia’s food and beverage industry.

“South Australia is home to some of the best food and beverages anywhere in the world, and that reputation has been built by the people and businesses recognised today,” the Premier said.

“These businesses are creating local jobs, backing our communities and putting South Australian products on tables here at home and around the world.

“I congratulate every finalist on their achievements and the contribution they are making to our state.”

The list of finalists also include the top 20 brands in the Foodland Consumer Choice Award, determined by public vote. The category gives consumers a direct say in recognising the South Australian food and beverage brands they know and love.

Winners will be announced at the Awards Gala Dinner on Friday, 13 November 2026, at the Adelaide Convention Centre. This year’s theme, Time to Shine: Celebrating Achievement. Inspiring Excellence., will shine the spotlight on the people, businesses and achievements shaping the future of South Australia’s food and beverage industry.
