From today October 9, Christmas lovers from across the state can purchase tickets to this year’s Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight, presented by Specsavers.
Held at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl, the event will play host to an array of Australia's biggest musical stars, while raising vital funds for children who are blind or have low vision.
Tickets for both the main event on Christmas Eve and the rehearsal night on December 23 will be available to purchase via www.carolsbycandlelight.com.au.
Vision Australia Chief Executive Officer, David Williamson, said the event has held a special place in the hearts of Australians for generations.
“Carols by Candlelight brings families and friends together for a wonderful night of music and Christmas spirit, while helping make a meaningful difference to children who are blind or have low vision,” said David.
“Every ticket purchased helps Vision Australia provide vital specialist services, including paediatric occupational therapy, orthoptics, and orientation and mobility training. These services help children build confidence, independence and the skills they need to participate fully in their community.
“We invite everyone to make Carols by Candlelight part of their Christmas tradition this year. Come along, enjoy an unforgettable night of live entertainment, while raising life-changing funds for children who are blind or have low vision.”
Vision Australia's Carols by Candlelight will once again deliver a stellar line-up of Australia’s most celebrated and exceptional performers, with Denis Walter, Silvie Paladino, Marina Prior and David Hobson among the incredible artists taking to the stage, alongside further exciting names soon to be announced. All performing under the baton of Musical Director John Foreman.

For those who wish to watch from home, the full show will be broadcast on Channel 9 and 9Now live from 8pm on Christmas Eve, as well as a replay on Christmas Day.
