WUNDRFUL WORLD OF CHRISTMAS RETURNS HOME TO SYDNEY FOLLOWING LONDON SUCCESS

The much-loved immersive Christmas adventure returns to the heart of Sydney for Christmas 2026 following its international success in London.

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA - After delighting families in Sydney and London, Australian-created Wundrful World of Christmas is returning home this festive season, opening from 6 November to 24 December 2026 at its spectacular Sydney CBD home opposite the QVB.

Since launching in Sydney in 2024, Wundrful World of Christmas has welcomed tens of thousands of young believers and their grown-ups, becoming a much-loved Christmas tradition for many families while continuing to be discovered by new visitors each year.

Designed especially for children aged 3-8, the approximately 50-minute immersive adventure combines acclaimed animation and mixed reality with sumptuous theatrical set design, live actors, animated characters, lighting, sound and sensory effects to create a Christmas world that families do not simply watch - they step inside.

The adventure begins with a thrilling simulated journey from the heart of Sydney towards the North Pole, before families emerge into the snowy Enchanted Forest and discover the secrets of the Elves' Workshop, where children can help the elves sort Christmas letters and find the right presents.

Along the way, they will encounter the elves and animated characters who make Christmas happen, visit Mrs Claus in her cosy cottage and discover more of the magical world behind Santa's biggest night of the year.

The journey culminates in a very special personal meeting with Santa Claus. Families can also capture the moment with a unique photographic experience, choosing from a selection of magical backgrounds to create their own Santa portrait.

Created by Sydney-based immersive entertainment company Wundr, Wundrful World of Christmas made its international debut in London in 2025, introducing the Australian-created experience to a whole new audience of families. Its combination of immersive storytelling, live performance, animated characters and theatrical design has helped establish Wundrful World of Christmas on both sides of the world.

Wundr Co-CEOs Andy Edwards and Justin James said:

“It’s been wonderful to see something we created here in Sydney become both a family Christmas tradition and an international experience. We love seeing families return each year alongside children discovering the magic for the very first time.”

The 2026 season will also be the final opportunity to experience Wundrful World of Christmas at its current Sydney CBD home, at Wundr Store, 31 Market Street, opposite the QVB.

Wundrful World of Christmas Sydney runs from 6 November to 24 December 2026. Tickets start from $27.50, with children under two admitted free.
