THURSDAY, 5 NOVEMBER 2026: HCF, Australia's largest not-for-profit health fund, has been announced as the inaugural Official Partner of the Netball World Cup Sydney 2027, extending its long-standing support of netball from grassroots participation and elite competition in Australia to the sport’s biggest global stage. The tournament will bring the world’s top netballers to Sydney for 12 days of competition from 25 August to 5 September 2027.
Building on a decade of supporting netball in Australia, the partnership takes HCF’s commitment to the sport to an international stage while continuing to champion women’s sport, health and participation.
“HCF has proudly backed netball for many years because we believe in what the sport represents and the positive role it plays in the health and wellbeing of women, girls and communities across Australia,” said HCF CEO & Managing Director Lorraine Thomas.
“Major global events like this have the power to inspire the next generation and continue building the profile and momentum of women’s sport. We want Sydney 2027 to leave a legacy by encouraging more people to get involved in netball, celebrate its athletes and recognise the enormous potential of women’s sport.
“As a member-owned, not-for-profit health fund, partnerships like this are also about creating something meaningful for our members. We’re delighted that HCF members will have the first opportunity to access tickets and be part of what promises to be an unforgettable international sporting event.”
The partnership will also give HCF members priority access to secure tickets for Netball World Cup Sydney 2027. The first limited ticket release will open to HCF members at noon AEDT on Monday, 9 November, ahead of the NWC2027 subscriber pre-sale and general public sale.
The initial release includes tickets to the opening night featuring the Australian Diamonds, tournament passes and finals series passes.
The full range of tickets, including individual session tickets, will go on sale in February 2027, with organisers aiming for a record attendance of more than 200,000 across the tournament.
