New technology foundation for next-generation Invoice Finance

Earlypay 3 mins read

Earlypay Limited (ASX: EPY) has completed a major technology transformation designed to make accessing and managing invoice finance simpler for Australian businesses and improve the experience for brokers referring their clients.

As part of the programme, Earlypay partnered with Lendscape, a leading global provider of commercial finance technology, moving its invoice finance business onto the Lendscape platform and combining it with technology developed in-house. Clients gain greater funding visibility, faster access to funds and a simpler digital experience, and Earlypay gains greater capacity to keep innovating for clients and the brokers who support them.

Early feedback has been positive, with clients migrated to the Lendscape platform recording a Net Promoter Score 27 points higher than comparable 2025 results.

Earlypay CFO and COO Paul Murray said the project was ultimately about removing friction for customers while creating a stronger platform for future innovation.

“Technology should make finance easier for businesses, removing layers of complexity. Our focus through this project has been on creating a simpler experience for clients, with better visibility of their funding and faster access to approved funds, while continuing to give them access to the people and expertise they value from Earlypay.

“The early response from migrated customers has been very encouraging. Just as importantly, moving onto a single platform gives us much greater capacity to keep improving the funding experience for clients and brokers.”

Better technology supporting better relationships

Following a competitive evaluation, Earlypay selected Lendscape in 2025 for its ability to consolidate three legacy systems onto one platform, support faster innovation and integrate with Earlypay’s own technology through APIs. Rather than adopting an off-the-shelf customer experience, Earlypay built its own solution combined with Lendscape’s receivables finance platform.

Its proprietary client portal facilitates seamless integrations with cloud accounting packages such as Xero and MYOB, underpinned by the digital-first Lendscape platform.

For brokersthe change is designed to support a smoother experience after referral, while maintaining access to experienced people who can help structure and manage client funding requirements.

“Brokers want confidence that businesses they refer will receive a good experience,” said Murray. “That means being responsive, making funding straightforward to manage and giving clients visibility and confidence, while still having great people available when they need them - this platform gives us a stronger foundation to deliver both.”

Innovating for clients and brokers

With the migration complete, Earlypay will focus on new client and broker functionality, including greater automation, deeper integrations and the responsible adoption of AI.

“Completing the migration is an important milestone, but it isn’t the end point”, said Murray. “We can now automate more administration, improve integrations and develop new functionality quickly, while keeping the customer at the centre of those decisions.”

Brett Promisel, CEO of Lendscape, said, “Earlypay is the kind of lender we love working with, clear about what its customers need and willing to build for it. They’ve taken a genuinely customer-led approach to transformation, combining the robust, scalable Lendscape platform with technology developed for their own clients. We look forward to supporting the next stage of their growth.”

HESTA statement on proposed acquisition of GROW Inc

28 August 2026 To be attributed to a HESTA spokesperson: HESTA is pleased to support MUFG Pension & Market Services’ proposed acquisition of GROW Inc as we believe the transaction has the potential to accelerate platform development and delivery of enhanced, personalised member services. While the acquisition remains subject to conditions, including regulatory, shareholder and court approvals, as an early adopter of GROW's innovative technology, our established relationship with both organisations positions us well to continue to optimise the platform. GROW is an external service provider to HESTA and the existing platform remains in place. The proposed change of ownership does not…

APRA performance test data highlights need to expand coverage, end fee gaming

The Super Members Council says the latest superannuation performance test data released by APRA today highlights the importance and urgency of expanding test coverage to include all platform products and tackle fee gaming that masks warning signals to Australians in underperforming options. The Council has consistently supported a strong performance test that covers all savings-phase super products as a crucial protection for all Australians against underperformance. “The performance test is doing what it was created to do: weed out underperforming super products and funds and ensure hard-working Australians super savings are working hard for them,” says the Council’s CEO Misha…
