Qantas professional engineers vote unanimously to pursue protected industrial action ballot over pay
Professional engineers responsible for critical Qantas fleet operations have unanimously voted to seek a protected action ballot after more than a year of negotiations failed to deliver a reasonable pay offer. Around 150 professional engineers, predominantly based at Mascot, are represented by Professionals Australia. The work of these professional engineers is fundamental to the operation of the airline.
