Strategic hires follow recent contract success and capital raise; establish key presence in critical U.S. market

archTIS Limited (ASX: AR9, OTCQB: ARHLF), a global provider of data-centric software solutions for the secure collaboration of sensitive information, is pleased to announce the appointment of two experienced U.S.-based professionals, Erik Hanson and Darroll Walsh, to support the Company’s expansion into the North American defence and government sectors.

These appointments are the first major deployment of capital from the recently completed A$7.5 million placement and signal archTIS’ intent to scale its operations and customer engagement efforts in the U.S.—a key growth market for defence-grade cybersecurity solutions.

  • Erik Hanson joins as Director, Strategic Programs. He brings deep experience in secure cloud transformation and mission-ready platforms for major defence organisations including the U.S. Department of Defence, NATO, and the UK Ministry of Defence. A former U.S. Army Signal Officer, Hanson is known for aligning secure technologies with operational needs in highly regulated environments.

  • Darroll Walsh has been appointed Director, Technical Programs. He brings a proven background in delivering secure digital architecture and compliance-first platforms to global institutions such as NATO, the United Nations, the Royal Canadian Navy, and U.S. defence agencies. A former U.S. Air Force weather forecaster, Walsh is recognised for his ability to bridge mission priorities with scalable, secure technology solutions.

These roles will play a central part in strengthening technical sales, customer onboarding, and implementation efforts. Both appointments will report into the Company’s Government and National Security division, led by former Raytheon Australia executive Gerard Foley.

Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Daniel Lai, said:

“Expanding our operational footprint within the United States is foundational to our international growth strategy. In addition to being a substantial market opportunity, the U.S. also serves as a global benchmark for technology, and for security and compliance in heavily regulated industries.

By strengthening our local delivery capabilities and supporting our U.S. customers with experienced teams on the ground, we are laying the foundation for long-term growth in a market where credibility and trust are essential. With our new team members’ deep domain expertise in defence and cybersecurity, archTIS is better positioned than ever to meet the expectations of mission-critical environments”.

These initial hires reflect archTIS’ growing momentum in the U.S. defence sector, following recent contract success with the U.S. Department of Defence. Additional appointments are anticipated in the coming weeks as the Company builds a dedicated team in the U.S. market to support its long-term international expansion.
