Lánluas Appoints Craig McLaughlin as Government Practice Lead

Lánluas Consulting 2 mins read

Lánluas, the global independent enterprise systems consultancy for TechnologyOne customers, has appointed former ReadyTech Head of Strategy and Solution Design, Craig McLaughlin, to the newly created role of Government Practice Lead.

In this role, Craig will lead the development and delivery of tailored solutions for government clients at local, state, and federal levels. He will be responsible for deepening Lánluas’ public sector expertise, enhancing client engagement, and ensuring that the services and solutions align with the specific needs of government organisations in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.

With a career spanning nearly 30 years, Craig brings extensive experience in government technology, enterprise systems, and product leadership. At ReadyTech, he led the strategic direction of the company’s government product suite, overseeing more than 140 customer development and deployment projects each month. His focus was on aligning product innovation with evolving client needs in the public sector.

Prior to that, Craig founded BluePoint, a software development company that helped organisations better capture, manage, and unlock the value of information stored in their enterprise systems, enhancing usability, collaboration, and innovation between teams.

Richard McManus, CEO of Lánluas, welcomes Craig’s appointment: “We’re delighted to establish the Government Practice Lead role to support our expanding presence in local and international markets,” said Richard. “As a former Council CIO myself, I understand how critical it is that ERP systems consultancies have real insight into the unique challenges facing governments. Craig’s depth of experience and strategic outlook make him an exceptional asset to our clients in the federal, state, and local government sectors throughout Australia and New Zealand and, increasingly, in the UK and Ireland.”

Craig says he is excited to join Lánluas at a pivotal time for the public sector: “Governments today face the dual challenge of delivering more with fewer resources, while ensuring every system investment delivers real value to their communities. I’m excited to help Lánluas clients make the most of their TechnologyOne platforms, improving service delivery, optimising internal processes, and driving strategic outcomes through smart technology use.”

“My vision in this role is to ensure our government clients feel understood, supported, and empowered. Whether it’s navigating rate capping, managing legacy systems, or enabling better decision-making through process automation and data, we want to be the partner that helps them turn complex challenges into practical, lasting solutions.”

Craig’s appointment reflects Lánluas’ commitment to serving the public sector with independent solutions, expert advice and market-leading support throughout the TechnologyOne ecosystem.
