As the weather warms up, Coles and Liquorland are raising the bar on home entertaining, rewarding customers with quality Schott Zwiesel European glassware, bringing even more value to the weekly shop heading into Christmas.

From Wednesday 17 September, Coles and Liquorland customers will be able to level up their hosting game, earning ‘glassware credits’ when they spend $20 or more in one transaction in-store or online at Coles and Liquorland and scan their registered Flybuys.[1]

Once customers have collected enough credits, they can redeem the glassware range for FREE exclusively at Coles both in-store and online (excluding the Coles App) from Wednesday 17 September.[2]

The launch comes as Coles research reveals that about two-thirds of Australians are choosing to dine-in at home more often to save money, with one in four preferring to enjoy a drink at home rather than going out.[3]

Equally, Margaritas, Mojitos, and Gin and Tonics reign supreme as the nation’s go-to cocktails according to a Coles survey, with one in five admitting to running out of wine glasses before hosting an event at home.[4]

Building on the success of the Schott Zwiesel range released at Coles in 2022, this new collection offers seven quality pieces to collect. Returning classics - short and large tumblers, red and white wine glasses, and elegant champagne flutes, are joined by two exciting new pieces just in time for spring spritz season - gin and tonic glasses, and a sleek carafe perfect for entertaining.

To fast-track your glassware collection and curate the perfect set, customers can earn bonus glassware credits when they purchase products from 26 participating brands at Coles and Liquorland including Barilla, Earthwise, Nescafe, Glad, Jacobs Creek and more, as well as Own Brand products from Coles Finest, Smithy’s, Loch Lomond and Canard-Duchêne.

Coles Chief Customer and Digital Officer, Michael Courtney said the quality glassware would provide customers with more value at the checkout and help make home entertaining a breeze.

“We’re giving our customers access to quality European glassware just by doing their regular grocery shop – perfectly timed for summer gatherings and festive celebrations,” he said.

“Whether you’re toasting with Champagne, savouring a bold Cabernet over dinner, or mixing cocktails in the backyard, our latest collection offers the perfect glass for every occasion.”

“We’re proud to once again partner with Schott Zwiesel and reintroduce a collectable glassware range. Whether you’re building a complete set or mixing and matching for your table, this collection elevates any home entertaining experience with beautiful glassware that’s sure to impress.”

Each European-made glass, which can be redeemed in a stylish set of two and has been crafted using Schott Zwiesel’s Tritan® glass protection technology.

Customers can earn glassware credits from Wednesday 17 September until Tuesday 6 January at all Coles and Liquorland stores and online. Credits can be redeemed for products from the range at Coles stores and online between Wednesday 17 September and Tuesday 13 January, providing customers with plenty of time to curate a stylish set for home or to surprise friends and family with an elegant gift.

To keep track of their glassware credits, customers can check their balance on the Flybuys App or online, or on the bottom of their Coles or Liquorland receipt.

Customers can also look forward to a selection of drinks recipes in the October edition of the Coles Magazine, including delicious whisky cocktails, and low and no-alcoholic spritzes that are sure to impress any guest.
