Let’s Talk Rates: Business Breakfast to Focus on Proposed Special Rate Variations

North Sydney Council < 1 mins read

Local business owners, commercial property stakeholders and commercial operators are invited to a Let’s Talk Rates Business Breakfast on Thursday 20 November, 7am at Hutley Hall, for a focused discussion on North Sydney Council’s proposed rate options.

Council is facing significant financial pressures, including a growing infrastructure renewal backlog and rising service delivery costs. In response, three revised rate options are now under community consultation to help secure long-term financial sustainability.

The Business Breakfast will give attendees a clear, accessible overview of the challenges driving the proposal and what the revised rate options could mean for businesses in the area.

Guests will hear directly from Chief Executive Officer Therese Cole and Director Open Space and Infrastructure Gary Parsons, with an opportunity to ask questions, provide feedback and help shape Council’s final decision.

Whether you’re a small business operator, commercial property owner or part of a larger enterprise, your voice matters. Join us for this important conversation about the future of North Sydney’s business landscape.
