LARK DISTILLERY WINS WORLD’S BEST DESIGNED WHISKY

Thursday, 26th March – LARK Distillery has been awarded World’s Best Design and Best Range Design at the World Whiskies Awards 2026 Global Dinner.

The LARK identity is built on duality: New World in ambition, yet deeply rooted in Tasmania. This restage reimagines the brand across packaging and every consumer touchpoint.

At the heart of the design is the skylark. Its sweeping ascent inspired the sculpted bottle silhouette, capturing motion, confidence and elegance. The hero illustration weaves the skylark with native Tasmanian flora — bluegum, tanglefoot, and tree ferns — symbolising the island’s wild beauty and provenance.

The restage highlights what has always defined LARK: uncompromising Tasmanian provenance, obsessive attention to flavour, and a spirit of New World creativity. The bold 700ml bottle aligns with international standards and positions LARK among the world’s finest whiskies, while retaining the distinctive shoulders of the original 500ml flask as a nod to the brand’s heritage.

The result is a contemporary, luxurious identity that reflects not just how LARK looks, but how it feels to experience it.

This announcement coincides with LARK’s launch of a bold new portfolio of four expressions. Available now via larkdistillery.com and LARK’s Hobart venues, the range will roll out to premium bars, select retailers, e-commerce platforms, Global Travel Retail, and Europe throughout 2026.
