First Focus expands managed AI and IT services scale in New Zealand with OneHQ acquisition
Sydney, Australia / Auckland, New Zealand – 3 June 2026 - First Focus has acquired OneHQ, a New Zealand managed IT services provider, further strengthening its position in the local SMB and midmarket sector while accelerating its ambition to become New Zealand’s leading managed AI and IT services partner.
The acquisition takes First Focus to more than 100 staff in New Zealand and more than 450 staff across the ANZ region, adding further scale, technical depth and client delivery capability at a time when small and midsize businesses are looking for stronger partners to help them navigate AI, cyber security, automation and the next stage of managed technology services.
OneHQ brings a highly regarded team, long-standing client relationships and deep experience supporting New Zealand businesses with managed support, cyber security, cloud, connectivity and technology services. The acquisition further builds First Focus’s local presence and reinforces its strategy of bringing together strong New Zealand businesses, proven service teams and the broader capability of a regional managed AI and IT services platform.
Troy Stodart, who has been a key part of OneHQ for more than a decade, will move into the role of Head of Delivery for First Focus in New Zealand. He will work alongside Travis Brunton, General Manager for First Focus in New Zealand, to support clients, team members and service delivery across the market.
