Mediality, the parent company of Australian media intelligence and PR platform Medianet, has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, the international standard for information security management.

ISO/IEC 27001:2022 sets out the requirements organisations must meet to systematically identify, manage and reduce risks to sensitive data. The certification was issued by GCC (Global Certification Corporation) and accredited by JASANZ and ANAB, following an independent audit of Mediality's information security systems, policies and controls.

For Medianet, the certification provides independent assurance around the handling of sensitive campaign, media and organisational data.

  • Independently verified security practices. The systems protecting client data on the Medianet platform have now been assessed against a globally recognised standard.

  • Ongoing accountability. Annual surveillance audits mean the certification has to be actively maintained, year on year, to remain valid.

  • A verifiable credential. Clients can confirm Mediality’s certification status directly via the JASANZ public register.

"Our clients trust us with sensitive data every day, and this certification is independent confirmation that Medianet and Mediality take that responsibility as seriously as they do," said Tim Mansour, Technology Director for Mediality.

“As the only Australian owned, media owned media intelligence company we are holding ourselves to high, globally recognised standards,” added Amrita Sidhu, Managing Director of Medianet.

"This certification is the result of sustained investment in the systems and discipline behind everything we build at Mediality," said Bruce Davidson, CEO of Mediality. "It's an external validation of standards we hold ourselves to internally — and a commitment we'll continue to make through annual audits."
