A century of combined expertise. Over 5,000 client engagements. More than $100 million in verified savings delivered in the past two years.

Sydney, 29th September 2026,  Australian organisations seeking greater value from their technology budgets have a new name to turn to, backed by decades of established expertise.

Aligned Outcomes launches today, bringing together telecommunications specialist TeleResult, IT cost consultancy CDRU and financial management software provider ClearCost under one group brand.

The businesses have delivered more than $100 million in verified client savings in the past two years and completed over 5,000 client engagements across their combined history.

The launch follows the acquisitions of CDRU and ClearCost in 2024 and brings their capabilities together through Cost Optimisation as a Service (COaaS), helping government and enterprise organisations identify unnecessary expenditure, negotiate better supplier arrangements, implement changes and verify the savings.

“A bill can be accurate and still represent poor value,” said Brian Stevens, CEO, Aligned Outcomes.

“The supplier may be charging exactly what the contract allows. The questions are whether the organisation still needs everything it is buying, whether the price remains competitive and who is responsible for acting on the answers.”

Aligned Outcomes addresses expenditure across telecommunications, cloud, software and managed services. The group reports typical client cost reductions of 15–30%, depending on the scope reviewed and existing commercial arrangements.

“Organisations are being asked to deliver more while keeping costs under control. Some of the funding they need may already be sitting inside their technology budgets,” said Stevens.

“Our role is to find that value and help recover it. An opportunity identified in a report only becomes useful when the change is implemented and the saving reaches the organisation.”

The group traces its roots to Housley Consulting, established in 1972, which became TeleResult in 2014. CDRU brings a 25-year IT consulting history, while ClearCost, established in 2005, provides Australian-developed IT Financial Management and Technology Business Management software.

Together, they bring a century of combined business experience to the new brand, supported by ISO 27001 certified systems and processes.

“For our clients, this is a new name built on trusted relationships,” said Stevens. “The expertise they know remains, with broader capability to take an issue from initial analysis through commercial negotiations, implementation and ongoing control.”

Customers can engage Aligned Outcomes for individual specialist services or an integrated COaaS engagement.

Doctors call for answers after OpenAI Medicare breach

Victoria’s doctors are calling for greater accountability from OpenAI and clear answers from both the Victorian and Federal governments about how they will protect sensitive patient health information after it was recently disclosed that Medicare was breached in June of this year. While the Federal Government said no personal patient information was accessed, OpenAI inexplicably did not notify Australian authorities until September. AMA Victoria President Dr Simon Judkins said the incident raised serious questions for both doctors and patients. “Confidentiality remains absolutely critical to…
