Vasey RSL Care Calls for Donations to Support Veterans at The V Centre

Vasey RSL Care 2 mins read

Vasey RSL Care, a leading provider of support services for veterans, is reaching out to the community for assistance in supporting veterans through their V Centre Veteran Empowerment Program. The V Centre aims to empower veterans by providing them with the tools and resources they need to regain their independence, confidence, and pride.

Recognising the difficulty in asking for help, Vasey RSL Care emphasises the importance of supporting veterans as they take the first step towards positive change. The organisation acknowledges the invaluable support of the community and is now inviting individuals to contribute to their cause.

“We're asking you – if you're in a position to do so – consider offering your support and help us get over our first hurdle: having everything we need to support our participants as they begin this life-changing program,” stated Vasey RSL Care Chief Executive Officer, Janna Voloshin.

The V Centre Gift Registry has been established to facilitate community contributions towards essential items needed for the practical operations of the V Centre. From self-care products to tools for healthy food preparation, each item on the registry is carefully selected to assist veterans in their journey towards empowerment.

“We are already seeing the impact that The V Centre is having on our first participants. We would love to see the community join us in helping these veterans as they take part in this life-changing program,” said The V Centre Program Manager, Deb Fraser.

"No contribution is too small. Every dollar helps," added Ms Fraser.

To make a donation or learn more about the V Centre Gift Registry, individuals are encouraged to visit the registry online. The goal is to reach a total of $10,000 donated by 30 April to ensure that The V Centre has the necessary resources to support its participants effectively.

Vasey RSL Care also extends its gratitude to the community for their continued support and generosity. The organisation emphasises that all donations are tax-deductible, as Vasey RSL Care is a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) registered organisation.

In addition to individual contributions, Vasey RSL Care welcomes inquiries from organisations, businesses, and groups interested in supporting The V Centre through the Corporate Sponsorship Program.

"We are very grateful for the continued support and generosity of this wonderful community. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of these men and women," concluded Ms Voloshin.
